DOHA: Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Sunday, adding 67.31 points (or 0.79%) to advance to 8,636.44 points from 8,569.13 Thursday.
The volume of the shares traded up to 5,449,324 from 5,095,978 on Thursday and the value of shares increases to QR270,809,811.07 from QR223,820,040.40 Thursday.
Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 1.12% to QR136.00, Industries Qatar rose 2.79% to QR165.90, Masref Al Rayan gained 0.38% to QR26.20 and Barwa Real Estate up by 0.89% to QR28.25.
The Banking and Financial sector index up 9.77 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index added 15.47 points. The industrial sector gained 44.44 points while insurance sector dropped 14.85 points. (QNA)
