Amal Fathima of Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) won the bronze medal in high jump in the under-19 girls category in the recently concluded CBSE National Level Interschool Athletic Meet held in Chennai, India, from December 26 to 30.
Adhila Jaleel, Riswana Moosa and Amal Fathima of SIS represented the Qatar Cluster Team in girls under-14 long jump, girls under-16 high jump, and girls under-19 high jump, respectively. Athletes from CBSE-affiliated schools in India and overseas took part in the event.
The participants and the physical educators were honoured by the management, staff and students of SIS for their performance and achievements.
