Stallions Cricket Academy concludes successful international Tour to Dubai

After a very successful tour to England in 2016 summer, Qatar’s leading cricket academy, Stallions CA concluded yet another successful international cricket tour to the UAE in December.
This was the sixth International Tour Stallions have done within the last two years.
The tour was for four days from 15th December to 19th December during which Stallions CA’s played more than 12 matches against competitive opponents from various cricket academies in the UAE.
The tour party consisted of 50 participants that included 27 players who are playing in the age groups of U11 and U14. The teams were managed by qualified senior coaches Lahiru Chathuranga, Nilantha Abeyrathne, Ashan Perera and head coach Sidath Tennakoon.
The Stallions players got the opportunity to play on professional grass grounds, on turf pitches in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi during the tour.
Commenting on the tour Sidath Tennakoon, the Head Coach of Stallions said, “Our aim in this tour was to provide much needed playing experience to our youngsters at top facilities against quality opponents.”
Stallions Sports Services is the leading sports academy in Doha, currently providing coaching in Cricket, Basketball and Badminton for juniors from the age of 6 years and above through a well-qualified and experienced team of coaches.
The academy has already completed two Cricket tours to England, Sri Lanka and UAE during the past two years and is planning to tour Australia, South Africa, India, Malaysia and Singapore in the near future.
The academy in Qatar was launched with the purpose of developing the game of cricket in Qatar, and to provide opportunities to aspiring young cricketers to have the opportunity to learn from ICC qualified coaches.
Stallions recently opened branches in Singapore and Dubai.  
The new cricket season for Stallions has already started at their fully equipped practice locations at Sherborne School and Pakshama School.
The next summer tour to Australia is scheduled during first week of July.
