The death toll from the powerful storm Usman that triggered landslides and flash flood in the Philippines has climbed to 126, Chinese official news agency reported on Sunday.

Xinhua cited the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) as saying that 26 people remain missing in the regions of Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Calabarzon and Mimaropa.
