Judicial auctions generate QR28.53m

Doha, Qatar: The Supreme Judiciary Council announced the outcomes of the judicial auctions conducted by the Evictions and Judicial Auctions Department on January 4, 2026.

The auctions generated total proceeds amounting to QR28.53m, benefiting 1,081 judicial cases, with 1,672 bids recorded. Four judicial auctions were held, covering real estate, vehicles, equipment, and foreclosed properties, according to a social media post by Supreme Judiciary Council. The real estate auction recorded the highest proceeds, generating QR20.65m from the sale of 5 out of 44 properties, benefiting 4 cases.

The foreclosed properties auction resulted in the sale of 2 out of 3 properties, generating QR5.76m, allocated to one judicial case. Meanwhile, the equipment auction achieved a full sale of all 18 offered items, collecting QR1.17m and benefiting 584 cases. The vehicle auction recorded the sale of 71 out of 88 vehicles, generating QR955,550, benefiting 492 cases.

The Supreme Judiciary Council affirmed that these results reflect its ongoing efforts to enhance transparency, expedite enforcement procedures, and safeguard rights through well-regulated judicial auction mechanisms.
