Doha: The Emir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani ratified the Cabinet’s decision No. 4 of 2013, restructuring some administrative units of the Public Works Authority (Ashghal) and setting their functions.
The Emir also endorsed the Cabinet’s decision No. 5 of 2013 on the enforcement of the provisions of the law No. 24 of 2002 concerning pension and retirement of Qatari employees of some state-owned companies or those companies to which Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company (Qatari Diar) is contributing.
The Emir also ratified decision No. 7 of 2013 on enforcement of the provisions of the law No. 24 of 2002 concerning pension and retirement of Qatari employees of Sheikh Jassim Bin Mohamed Bin Thani Social Care Foundation.
The decisions will be implemented and take effect from the date of issue and will be published in the official gazette.
The Emir also endorsed a protocol on cultural cooperation to restore, renovate and develop Tunisian historical monuments.
A memorandum of understanding on Qatar’s development progammes in Tunisia, encouraging and protecting investments between both countries and cooperation between the Prosecution-General of Qatar and the Tunisian Ministry of Justice were also ratified by the Emir.QNA
