Faisal hammered a thrilling hundred and fired Al Feroz Youngsters to crush Qatari Diar in the Qatar Airways Cricket Tournament Premier Division at the West Bay Grounds.
The popular tournament of Qatar has been sponsored by Qatar Airways and has drawn 64 teams in four different categories.
Batting first, Al Feroz Youngsters piled up 277 for seven in 50 overs with Faisal cracking a hurricane 111.
Tanveer (53) and NomanSarwar (55) cracked brisk half-centuries to take their team to a strong position.
Amir and Mannan scalped two players each.
In the chase, Qatari Diar could not handle the pressure and collapsed at 96 with Mujeeb (four wickets) and Nadeem (two wickets) running through them.
Nafees was the highest scorer for Qatari Diar with 23 and Saqlain made 12.
In other matches, Anoop, who hit 25 runs and grabbed three wickets, set up a four-wicket triumph for Tusker against Commercial Bank Qatar and Talha cracked a fine 62, which lifted Rawal County to a three-wicket victory against Regal Strikers.
Both Anoop and Talha were declared the Man-of -the-Match as well.
