The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held on Monday a telephone conversation with President of the sisterly Republic of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which HH the Amir expressed his condolences to HE the Turkish President and to the brotherly Turkish people on the victims of the earthquake that struck several provinces in southeastern Turkey, praying the Almighty Allah to have mercy upon them, grant them paradise, and inspire their families with patience and solace.
His Highness also expressed, during the call, the State of Qatar's support for the sisterly Republic of Turkey in mitigating the serious humanitarian repercussions left by the earthquake, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
