Doha, Qatar: Birla Public School, Doha, organised a Farewell Ceremony titled “Elysium” for the Grade XII students yesterday, 29 January 2026 at the main school campus. The event marked an important milestone in the students’ school journey and served as a heartfelt tribute to the graduating batch.

The ceremony was thoughtfully planned and impeccably executed by the students of Grade XI, reflecting their creativity, leadership, and commitment. The programme featured a blend of cultural performances, nostalgic moments, and warm tributes that celebrated the shared experiences and achievements of the graduating students. The presence of the Principal, Dr. Anand R. Nair, along with members of the senior leadership team, added dignity and colour to the occasion.

The event commenced with a warm Welcome Speech, followed by a soulful Prayer Song that set a serene and reflective tone. Adding to the celebratory spirit of Elysium, the Grade XI students presented a melodious Group Song, expressing their affection and admiration for their seniors.

One of the highlights of the programme was the speech delivered by Grade XII students representing the Science, Commerce, and Humanities streams. They shared cherished memories, expressed gratitude, and reflected on their transformative experiences at school. This was followed by an energetic and well-coordinated Group Dance by Grade XI, which brought vibrancy and enthusiasm to the occasion.

A much-awaited moment of Elysium was the announcement and crowning of Birla Prince and Princess. Beno Arimboor was crowned as Birla Prince and Lena Mariya Thomas as Birla Princess, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony symbolising celebration, camaraderie, and a fond farewell.

The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the students, teachers, and organisers who contributed to the success of the event.
