What after restructuring ministries and institutions?

The Emiri decisions on restructuring and reorganising ministries and governmental institutions have become one of the hottest issues of public discussion since they were made public, giving everybody the impression that they were made all of a sudden.
This is not true. After the Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani came to power, in his first speech he called on everybody to play his/her role to the fullest, and work diligently in performing tasks assigned to them.
The Emir’s choice of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani as Prime Minister and Minister of Interior supports his call for hard work. The prime minister is well known for his dedication to work and his mastery of all tasks he performs.
But the thing others did not expect was that this leadership likes to work in silence. This encourages everybody to work hard, and silently as well. By doing so, everyone will notice how others follow a hard worker and what he does.
The above announcement will be followed by more, but nobody should be surprised when they are made. Everybody knows that a decision on a new human resources law is in the pipeline. We have hopes that the law will protect the rights of citizens and resident alike. This is what we believe in, because the Emir knows what will benefit the country and its citizens.
We must also remember that following the announcement of restructuring, there will be moves in line with the new dispensation. May God save Qatar’s Emir, government and people.
