Doha: The Qatari Ministry of Defense announced that Qatar Amiri Air Defense Forces successfully intercepted a drone attack targeting Al-Udeid Air Base.
Earlier, authorities issued an alert warning that the security threat level had been elevated, requiring people to remain indoors and to stay away from windows and other exposed areas. A second alert was sent informing the community that the threat had been eliminated.
