SHARM EL SHEIKH: The First Arab Conference on Food, Drug and Medical Equipment kicked off at Sharm El Sheikh,Egypt on Saturday under the theme ""Regulatory Control on Food, Drug and Medical Equipment, Ambitions and Challenges".
The conference is organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) under the auspices of the Arab League and in cooperation with the GCC Health Ministerial Council, and its executive office, in addition to the General Authority of Food and Medicine (GAFM) in Saudi Arabia.
More than 150 experts and representative of universities, ministries, supervising authorities, and international organization from various 15 Arab and foreign countries, including Kuwait are taking part in the event.
The conference will tackle 28 issues, including nine on food, ten on medicine, and another nine on medical devices. A total of 41 scientific papers will be presented in the food field, while other 38 in medicine field. (QNA)
