Doha: Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) has announced an essay competition for students at Indian schools in Qatar.
Set to be held as an annual event, the essay competition will be held to honour late M.V. Abdul Kader, popularly known as “Hajika”, an Indian expatriate social worker.
The competition will be held on April 19 at MES Indian School. 250 students from eight Indian schools are expected to take part in the competition. It will be held in senior and junior categories.
Teachers from eight schools will be evaluating the essays, two winners will be selected in each category. They will be presented with trophies by Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora. It will be followed by a cultural programme.
