The Filipinos’ satisfaction with the job performance of President Benigno S. Aquino III in the last three months fell to its lowest since he took office in 2010, a new poll showed on Monday.

According to the Social Weather Stations (SWS), 47 percent of Filipinos (from 63 percent in December) are satisfied with Aquino’s work while 36 percent (from 24 percent) are dissatisfied with his performance. This brings his net rating to moderate +11 (percentage of satisfied minus percentage of dissatisfied), which is lower by 28 points from his “good” +39 net rating in December.

Net satisfaction ratings of +70 and above is classified by SWS as “excellent;” +50 to +69, “very good;” +30 to +49, “good;” +10 to +29, “moderate;” +9 to -9, “neutral;” -10 to -29, “poor;” -30 to -49, “bad;” -50 to -69, “very bad;” and -70 and below, “execrable.”

The result of the latest survey, which was conducted by SWS last March 20 to 23 among 1,200 respondents, was first published in BusinessWorld on April 6, 2015.

The survey was conducted amid the ongoing controversy surrounding the death of the 44 commandos of the Philippine National Police-Special Action Force.
