Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call from Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain HE Pedro Sánchez.
The call addressed the latest regional developments regarding the ongoing Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar and its repercussions on maritime security in the region.
HE the Spanish Prime Minister also inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar, reiterating his country's support for and solidarity with Qatar.
During the call, they discussed the escalating tensions in the region and the efforts being made to contain and de-escalate them, including the situation in Lebanon, where the importance of de-escalation and strengthening stability was emphasized.
The call also included a review of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them in various fields.
