Doha. Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call from President of the French Republic His Excellency Emmanuel Macron.
During the call, they discussed developments in the region following the continued Iranian aggression against the State of Qatar, and its repercussions on regional and international security and stability.
They also exchanged views on the impact of the escalation on global energy supplies and the importance of strengthening international efforts to ensure their stability and continued flow.
The French President commended the State of Qatar's wise management of the crisis, praising its calls for de-escalation and affirming his country's support for and solidarity with the State of Qatar.
He also stressed the importance of de-escalation, particularly given its repercussions on global energy security, in addition to discussing developments in Lebanon and emphasizing the need to intensify efforts to reduce tensions and enhance stability in the region.
