Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) students voted for selecting monitors recently. The assembly areas in the Junior Wing, Girls’ Wing and Boys’ Wing, were the polling stations and it was set up with ballot boxes and poll cards. The process aimed to raise awareness among young people of the importance of voting and engaging in the democratic process. Nominees were based on pupils’ conduct, academic and sports achievements and the moral values of the student. After the counting process, results were announced and Principal Nargis Raza Otho did the honour of pinning the badges to the newly elected monitors.
