With a huge number of participants, Hyatt Plaza Mall concluded the photo exhibition about the first edition of ‘Capture Qatar’ contest, which aimed at highlighting the most beautiful scenes and images in Qatar.
Hyatt Plaza Mall’s team said that the photo exhibition held in the mall from April 25 to May 4, 2019 contained the best 100 pictures out of the 1,200 entries in the contest.
Organised by Hyatt Plaza Shopping Mall and Youth Hobbies Center, Al Sharq and The Peninsula newspapers, the photo exhibition is one of the competitions that aims to embody the beauty, present, history and heritage of the State of Qatar.
Mohammed Al Hawamdeh, Head of Marketing at Hyatt Plaza Mall, said “Being a family shopping destination, we are always keen to offer activities and event to all citizens and expatriates to give them the opportunity to express their love to Qatar. In addition, we are always aiming to engage community in Mall activations”.
Al Hawamdeh said that the competition gave the opportunity for all photography enthusiasts to showcase their talent and creativity. The closing ceremony of Capture Qatar honoured the first 10 winners with top range cameras as gifts and an exclusive Hyatt Plaza VIP Card. In addition, the remaining 100 participants get the certificates of appreciation in Capture Qatar in honour of their efforts in making this event a success.
Top ten winners are Abdelaziz Aben Youjil, Sebastian Krzyżanowski, Toh Leng, Sinlin Moothandassery, Ahmed Herz, Ahmed Karem, Ali Gad, Ali Al Naimi, Madonna Macalma and Mervat Ahmed.
