Doha: Ooredoo and Arbor Networks have partnered to launch a new suite of network security solutions to help businesses fight cyber attacks, Ooredoo announced yesterday.

Over the past year, Qatar’s growing international presence has led businesses to face increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks. Several high-profile organisations have had their computer systems, email, websites and social media accounts compromised.

Increasingly, attackers are using Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS), which can be complex and hard-to-detect.

Ooredoo has strengthened its Ooredoo DDoS Prevention Solutions to help protect businesses fight cybercrime and enhance their cyber-security.

Ooredoo’s suite of world-class solutions monitors, analyses and protects network operations through two major lines of defence, enhanced by Arbor Networks. Founded in 2000, Arbor Networks has been a leading provider of network security and management solutions for enterprise and service provider networks.
