Doha: Qatar will participate in meetings of the UN Economic and Social Council which begin on Monday at the UN headquarters in New York.
The Minister of Development Planning and Statistics H E Dr Saleh Mohamed Salim Al Nabit will lead Qatar’s delegation and give a presentation on the country’s achievements in human development, sustainable development, and social welfare, according to goals of Qatar National Vision 2030 and National Development Strategy 2011- 2016.
Qatar’s participation in national voluntary presentations at the council follows outstanding achievements in Millennium Development Goals. QNA
