Senior British ministers to visit India, meet Modi

New Delhi: British ministers William Hague and George Osborne will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj during their  two-day visit to India starting tomorrow.
Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs William Hague and Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne will jointly call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 8, a ministry of external affairs statement said yesterday.
The two ministers will hold delegation-level talks with Swaraj at Hyderabad House the same day..
“Both sides will discuss bilateral, regional and global issues of mutual interest,” the statement added.
Osborne will also hold talks with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
They are also scheduled to visit Mumbai.
The two British ministers will be accompanied by an official delegation comprising Minister for Business Engagement with India and Minister of State for Climate Change and Energy Gregory Barker, Minister for Government Policy in the Cabinet Office Oliver Letwin and Cabinet Office Minister Joseph Edmund Johnson.
