Qatar Stock Exchange’s (QSE) benchmark index gained 33.84 points, or 0.38 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 8,929.48 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded decreased to 8.41 million from 13.01 million on Tuesday and the value of shares decreased to QR210.63m from QR288.48m on Tuesday.
Out of the 44 companies listed on QSE, shares of 40 saw trading yesterday. Of these 27 gained and 10 companies closed lower yesterday, while shares of three companies remained unchanged. Indices of four sectors ended in green and remained tree sectors ended in red today. QSE Total Return Index gained 0.38 to 14,974.22 points, reports QNA.
