ICC online talk show highlights need for adult-children bond

Dha: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) hosted the third session of  a series on online talk shows planned to be conducted through the ICC Student’s Forum, recently on  the topic  of  Perfection  is  child’s  Nightmare’,  Appreciation  as a best  remedy, the importance  of  games in   student’s life. 

As Keynote speaker and renowned academician and Principal Mrs. Hameeda  Kadar  (Principal –MES  Indian  School)  emphasized  on  the  need  of developing an understanding  between   adults and  children  to reduce  stress  and  improve  communication.  She pointed that adult’s should have realistic  expectations   from  children  and   encourage  and  appreciate  them  appropriately.  She answered to the queries and questions raised by students and clearing their doubts with her vast knowledge and experience.  Session was very informative and  was  highly  appreciated by all . 

ICC President Shri P.N Babu Rajan in  his   speech   highlighted  the need  to look  into  problem  faced  by  children due  to  the  perfectionist  nature  and  high  expectations  from  parents.  and appreciated the  Guest Principal  for   satisfying  the  queries  on   this  very  important  topic. He  also  praised  student’s  for  coming  forward  and  asking  questions  to clear their doubts through renowned  academicians. 

The event was hosted by Head of Activity Coordinator & Education Ms. Kamla Thakur and conducted by Ms. Shweta Koshti, Head of Cultural Activities.  Master Mohammed  Zayan – MES  Indian  School  welcomed  the guest  and  attendees,   J.P. Sujithra  of  Bhavan’s Public  School  expressed  the  vote  of  Thanks.    Over 17 Students  put forward  their  questions  which  were  answered  satisfactorily  by  the  Guest  Speaker.  ICC Vice President Shri  Subramanya Hebbagelu   and  all  ICC  committee  members  took active part in successfully conducting the event  which was attended  by  students  of various Indian  schools,  parents and other prominent members of the community.
