Promoting cultural communication, Islamic values:
This visit falls under the framework of the “Mosque Visit” programme executed by the Sheikh Abdull Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center. The initiative aligns with the Ministry’s strategy to enhance cultural communication across diverse backgrounds and to showcase the tolerant values of Islam, which are rooted in coexistence and harmony. The programme introduces visitors to the role of mosques not merely as places of worship, but as vibrant centres for spiritual, social, and cultural enlightenment.
Through this programme, the Center is dedicated to providing visitors with an integrated educational experience. It combines an introduction to the country’s prominent religious landmarks with a spotlight on local architectural characteristics, highlighting the civilized connotations that reflect the authentic Qatari identity.

Exploring architectural heritage and social roles:
During the tour, the Speaker of the parliament of Mozambique explored the landmarks of the Imam Muhammad bin Abdulwahhab Mosque.
