Chaudhry Sarwar sworn in as Governor of Punjab

Lahore: Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar sworn in as 35th Governor of the Punjab at the Governor House on Monday.

Chaudhry Sarwar is a loyal Pakistani who surrendered British citizenship besides playing a significant role in strengthening ties between Pakistan and Britain as a member of the British Parliament, according to the Pakistani (Dunya News).

Chaudhry Sarwar had been elected thrice as the member of the British Parliament from Glasgow city while in the recent elections in United Kingdom, his son Anas Sarwar won from this seat.

Having served as Labour Party Member of Parliament in Glasgow for 13 years, Sarwar comes with the experience of legislation besides having been a successful businessman.
