DOHA: Humid weather is expected to dampen the mood of revellers venturing out and to far-off places in the country during the Eid Al Fitr holidays due to high humidity.
“Expect an uncomfortable feeling in the days to come due to high humidity,” a press statement issued by the Meteorology Department said yesterday. High humidity levels will continue with some clouds and chances of mist formation at places. Wind speed is expected to be moderate, with the direction being mostly northeast to southeast. The air would, therefore, contain large amounts of vapour.
Temperatures could be sweltering, reaching up to 42 degrees C, but averaging on most days at 38 degrees. The statement said: “We are pleased to offer you the weather forecast during the Eid holidays”. The Peninsula
