DOHA: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has endorsed Cabinet Decision No. 33 of 2014 setting up the Foreign Ministry’s Tenders Committee.
The decision stipulates that the committee undertakes the functions of the two central and local tenders committees, incorporated in the tenders’ regulating law with regard to the Ministry’s tenders.
The Emir endorsed Cabinet Decision No. 36 of 2014 establishing a national committee on customs clearance (single window).
The decisions are effective from the date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
In addition, the Emir endorsed Decision No. 34 of 2014 amending the organising of some administrative units of the Ministry of Finance and defining their functions. The decision is effective from the next day following the date of issue and is to be published in the official gazette.
