DOHA: The Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday issued Decree No. 34 of 2014 approving the accession to Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the Specialised Agencies, which was adopted in 1947. The decree shall have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the constitution.
The Emir also issued Decree No. 35 of 2014 ratifying a grant agreement between the governments of Qatar and the Tunisian Republic to fund the construction of social housing in the town of Sakiet Sidi Youssef in Kef governorate, which was signed on March 12, 2013. The decree shall have the force of law in line with Article 68 of the Constitution. The decrees are effective starting from their date of issue and are to be published in the official gazette.
