Qatar stocks down 0.53pc

Doha: Qatar Exchange index dipped 70.19 points, or -0.53 percent, yesterday when trading closed at 13,103.45 points.
The trading value reached QR583.532m with a volume of 15,456,566 shares from 7,004 transactions.
Today 42 from the 43 listed companies were traded. From these 19 declined, 17 made gains, and six remained unchanged.
Doha Insurance was the top gainer, up 5.56 percent to QR28.50 while Qatar National Bank led the losers, down 3 percent to QR178 from Tuesday’s close at QR183.50.
Qatari individual investors bought a volume of 8,213,977 shares of 41 companies for a value of QR249.304m, or 42.72 percent, of the total shares bought.
Qatari individual investors sold a volume of 8,230,326 shares of 42 companies for a value of QR261.734m, or 44.85 percent, of the total shares sold today.
