Tunisian international Yassine Chikhaoui will be confirmed to play for Al Gharafa at the Qatar Stars League (QSL) after a medical test. The QSL will start next month.

Doha: Al Gharafa Sports Club has announced the successful conclusion of the meeting with Tunisian international Yassine Chikhaoui.
The top goal scorer of the Swiss League and former player of FC Zurich will join the football team for the new QSL season starting next month.
The negotiations were successful as the club looked to add to its attacking prowess, the club will now await the results of a medical before finalising the deal.
Al Gharafa has already signed the Qatar Stars League top goal scorer Alain Dioko from Al Ahli.
The 28-year-old Yassine completed the deal for a three-contract that would run up to 2017 summer, the QNA reported earlier this week.
“Chikahoui was in Gharafa’s focus since last year. The club’s board was keen to sign him and play in Qatar Stars League,” said Al Qasabi in an interview.
Many clubs showed interest in him since he excelled for the Swiss club as well as Tunisian national football team, but Yassine  preferred to join Gharafa and expand his professional experience in this region, the agent said.
Wishing him and his family well, FC Zurich President Ancillo Canepa said, “No one will deny that Yassine was one the best football player ever to play in Switzerland. In the 2014-15 season he should what an excellent and important player he is.”
Gharafa FC has won Qatar Stars League title seven times, the last being in 2010.
