Hundreds of visitors are thronging the ‘Entertainment City’ at the Doha Exhibition Centre daily to take part in Qatar’s first Summer Festival. The city, a main attraction for families, offers games and rides, including slide skiing, rock climbing and eating options, for the entire family. It’s open from 3pm to 11pm on weekdays and 2pm to midnight on weekends. The water fountain shows on the Corniche, Inflatable Aqua Park on Al Wakra beach and Disney on Ice performances are among other highlights of the festival.
A ‘Sharing Fun’ competition on photography, videos and creative writing has also been launched.
Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority, the seven-week festival ends on September 27.
