Doha: The Maritime Customs Department at Al Ruwais foiled an attempt to smuggle hashish into the country.
The Customs Department shared photos of the banned substance which was hidden inside a diesel tank.
76 kg of hashish was seized during the operation.

Customs officers are provided with all means of support including the latest devices and continuous training to read the body language of passengers and be aware of the latest methods followed by smugglers.
