Washington, USA: Google has announced the rollout of Live features for the Gmail, Docs, and Keep apps following a beta testing period, as part of an effort to expand the voice-based interaction experience with its AI assistant, Gemini Live.
The new features allow users to search within emails and ask questions using natural language, receiving answers based on the information contained in those emails. Additionally, the Gmail Live feature enables users to interrupt the conversation to change the topic or switch to a different question, while displaying the conversation transcript and links to the source emails for verification.
In Google Docs, the Docs Live feature helps users organize their ideas and structure documents using voice commands, while Keep Live utilizes AI to convert spoken input into organized lists and notes, accurately interpreting context and intent.
Gmail Live is available to subscribers of Google AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra plans on Android and iOS. Docs Live is available to Pro and Ultra subscribers, while Keep Live is currently limited to Android devices for subscribers of those same two plans.
