Doha: Al Jazeera Children’s Channel (JCC) will participate at MIPCOM & MIPJunior exhibitions due to be held in Cannes, France, early in the coming week, a press release issued by JCC said.
A world-class provider of edutainment TV content for Arab children and families, JCC said its permanent presence at such high-profile TV industry events aims to explore new collaboration opportunities with global industry players.
Earlier this year JCC rolled out a new strategy for the coming years to become fully child-centric, while offering a 360 degree media proposition that is loved by children and trusted by parents. JCC’s Acting Executive General Manager Haya bint Khalifa Al Nassr, said: “The wide respect the channel enjoys today speaks volumes about its understanding of children’s needs and its ability to produce quality programs that meet and exceed audience expectations.”
Acting Director of Channels, Saad Al Hudaifi said: “Hubs like MIPCOM and MIPJunior are ideal networking and business platforms to look for the best modern TV content on display by key leaders and content providers, and to showcase the best of our homegrown content.”
This year at MIPCOM & MIPJunior JCC will showcase some of its latest in-house productions including Shams & Rami, Nan & Lili, Power Struggle, and The Flying Saucer. These shows cover a wide array of subjects relevant to young audiences.
