Under the patronage of H E Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, the Head of the Supreme Education Council (SEC) Executive Committee, the SEC honoured 21 teachers at a function held at the St Regis Hotel yesterday as part of the World Teachers’ Day 2012. The World Teachers’ Day, started by the Unesco, has been celebrated since 1994 in more than one hundred countries across the globe.
