New Delhi: The BJP was likely to win the assembly elections in Rajasthan but there would be a close fight between the party and the Congress in Chhattisgarh, the ABP News-Nielsen exit poll said
yesterday.
According to the survey, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will get 110 seats of the total 200 in the Rajasthan assembly and the ruling Congress will slide to 73.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) would get only one seat, and the other parties 16 seats, the survey said. In 2008, the Congress had won 96 seats, the BJP 78, BSP six and others 20.
Chhattisgarh would see a hung assembly, according to the
exit poll. IANS
