Julian Draxler has put Europe’s biggest clubs on red-alert this week, reiterating his desire to leave Wolfsburg in January.

Mr. Unpopular

He was booed by his own fans on Saturday, having this to say in the aftermath:

“I don’t think I need to tell anybody what [being booed] does to a person – it certainly doesn’t help you.

There’s no doubt it makes it hard for you to perform on the field.

I can understand the fans, though. They have every right to do that. I said in the summer the way I feel and I stand by that.”

Arsenal?

The German international tried to force a move out of the club in the summer, with Arsenal reportedly most keen on his signature, as per the Daily Mirror.

His career has stagnated at Wolfsburg after a stunning start to life at Schalke 04.

With interest in the forward still alive from Arsene Wenger, the Emirates remains the most likely destination; with Welbeck still injured, Giroud still attempting to gain match-fitness and reports linking Sanchez away from Arsenal, Draxler’s arrival would be a welcome one for the Arsenal fanbase.

It is believed a fee of around £25 million would be enough to lure him to London.
