Doha: The State of Qatar welcomed the signing of the political framework agreement by stakeholders in the Republic of Sudan, considering it a pivotal step to end the political crisis in the country.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Qatar’s aspiration for the continuation of the dialogue between the Sudanese stakeholders to reach a comprehensive final agreement that represents all spectrums of the brotherly Sudanese people and establishes a transitional phase that paves the way for stability, development, and peace.
The ministry expressed Qatar’s full appreciation for the international and regional efforts that contributed to reaching this agreement and renewed its full support for Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and stability.
