Turkish restaurant Mado is coming to Qatar soon. Mado has branches in Turkey, Asia Pacific and Saudi Arabia. They have signed a Master Franchise Agreement with Promer Food & Services in Qatar. Qatar will be the 11th country for Mado.
Promer Food & Services has been given development and master franchise rights of Mado in Qatar. A memorandum of understanding detailing these rights was signed by the parties on October 12 in Doha, which followed the signing of the Master Franchise Agreement in Istanbul.
The signing ceremony place in Etiler, Istanbul branch of Mado, was attended by Salem Rashed Mohamed Al Banali Al Mohannadi representing Promer Food & Services together with Erhan Nuri Ekermen, Can Kartal, Cem Kurt.
Mado representative were Chairman, Mehmet Sait Kanbur, General Co-ordinator, Mehmet Yilmazoglu, and International Investment Director, Hassan Ibrahim Toksoy.
The ceremony was also attended by Mado’s partner in Saudi Arabia, Prince Abdullah bin Saud El Saud.
Mado will be investing $5.7m in its Qatar operations and aims to have six branches in five years
The first Mado branch is envisaged to open in the new Ezdan Mall and negotiations are continuing to open the second in the Pearl Qatar.
Mado’s aim is to have three branches in Qatar in the first two years and then to expand to six in five years.
