Siraj-ul-Haq, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) amir

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) amir Siraj-ul-Haq has urged the government to take indiscriminate action against terrorists regardless of their political affiliation for restoration of a lasting peace in the country.

Talking to media on his arrival at Jinnah International Airport-Karachi here, he said that anti-state elements were trying to use the Peshawar incident against seminaries in order to push the country towards anarchy.

JI amir said that the government should make effective laws so that every criminal regardless of political affiliation, cast and creed is punished as per law.

The law against terrorists and terrorism should be implemented even handed, he said, adding that those who are involved in tarnishing the image of seminaries are working on alien agenda.

Siraj-ul-Haq further said that a conspiracy is being hatched to divide the society on the basis of sectarianism. He said Jamaat-e-Islami condemns the all sorts of terrorism in strongest words.
