DOHA: Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) recently welcomed Fahed, the official mascot of the 24th Men’s Handball World Championship 2015.
Fahed toured the offices of QTA where he received a warm welcome from the employees.
“We are delighted to host this charming personality, which is admired by many people as a character embodying the genuine Qatari heritage. The visit is part of the mascot’s efforts to support the sport tourism sector, especially as Fahed symbolizes the values of hospitality, generosity, and friendship and embodies Qatar’s sports ambitions in a fascinating way,” said Saif Al Kuwari, Director of Public Relations & Communication Department.
