Tunis: Tunisian Military units have captured a "dangerous" gun man after he sustained foot injury in an ambush at Mount Salloum in Kasserine governorate, the Tunisian Ministry of Defense announced in a statement Saturday night.
"A military unit targeted an armed group before capturing the dangerous terrorist (wounded) who was abandoned by his comrades," the statement said, according to the official TAP news agency.
A Kalashnikov rifle and a 40-round magazine were seized.
"The sweeping operation goes on to hunt down the other members of the group," the statement added.
