DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Thursday 11.61 points or 0.13% to 8,757.59 points from the previous closing of 8,727.83 points.

The volume of shares traded fell to 6,988,984 from 7,365,098 Wednesday, and the value of shares decreased to QR201,706,733.56 from QR241,605,318.15 Wednesday.

Among the top losers were National Leasing whose share dropped 1.13% to QR39.30, Al Kaleej Takaful lost 1.10% to QR44.80, United Development Company fell 1.66% to QR17.80 and General Insurance down 3.19% to QR44.00.

Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.50 points while the Insurance sector dropped 0.98 points. The Qatar industrial sector rose 0.07 points and the Services sector fell 0.57 points. (QNA)
