Doha: Qatar denounced yesterday the assassination of Tunisian general secretary of the Democratic Patriotic Party Chokri Belaid, after he was gunned down in front of his home in Tunis.
A reliable source at the Foreign Ministry told Qatar News Agency (QNA) yesterday that Qatar condemns all acts of violence and terrorism. The source also conveyed the condolences of the State of Qatar to the Tunisian government, the victim’s family and the Tunisian people.
