DOHA: Environment Ministry patrols have seized several vehicles carrying inflammable materials like diesel and petrol illegally and referred them to the Public Prosecution.
Some petrol stations were violating rules by giving more diesel and petrol to these vehicles than the quota fixed by authorities and legal action is being taken against the erring stations, Al Sharq reports.
Authorities have also notified the petrol stations to follow regulations and asked vehicle owners to obtain permit before carrying any dangerous materials, in a bid to protect the environment.
