Doha: Abdullah Abdulghani & Bros. Co. (AAB), distributor for Toyota vehicles in Qatar offers the largest line-up of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) in the country. Get to know the full lineup of Toyota hybrid vehicles from compact and mid-size sedans to mid-size hybrid SUVs.

AAB offers 8years/160,000km (whichever comes first) warranty on hybrid batteries. The batteries in the hybrid electric drivetrain are automatically charged by either the petrol engine or when braking and decelerating, eliminating the need to plug in a power cord. Key benefits of HEVs are powerful acceleration, quietness, better fuel efficiency and low emission.

Toyota Corolla HEV: The class-leading model offers the lowest fuel consumption value in its category at 27.6km/L, enabling customers to contribute to a greener future while enjoying the increased driving satisfaction provided by its advanced technologies. The hybrid model offers exceptional cabin quietness and smooth acceleration, especially when accelerating from a stand-still. Corolla HEV is equipped with a 4 cylinder, 1.8 litre engine with a combined power of 121 hp.

Toyota Camry HEV: The all-new Camry HEV ‎does not require special fuel yet drives like any other conventional car. Thanks to its top-class fuel efficiency, visits to petrol stations will be significantly reduced. Combining two power sources consisting of a petrol engine and two electric motors, the hybrid electric drivetrain on the all-new Toyota Camry HEV produces 208 hp.

Toyota RAV 4 HEV: RAV 4 hybrid is imbued by two powertrain options. A new 2.5-litre four-cylinder Dynamic Force engine with D-4S fuel injection system produces 204 hp and 243 nm of torque, ‎is mated to a new eight-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission (8AT), resulting in a quicker and smoother acceleration.

On the other hand, a new electrified hybrid system combines two power sources consisting of a petrol engine and two electric motors producing a combined power of 218 hp. It is also mated to a Direct Shift Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that provides the lowest fuel consumption value of 22.2km/L while delivering a new level of driving pleasure.

Toyota CHR HEV: The C-HR hybrid electric vehicle, which was launched recently, reflects Toyota’s long-standing drive for sustainability; as the company harnessed the power of innovation to emerge as a leader in the development of environmentally friendly automotive technologies. Offering the lowest fuel consumption value in its category at 23.9 km/L, the class-leading C-HR enables customers to contribute to a greener future while enjoying the increased driving satisfaction provided by its advanced technologies.

Toyota Highlander HEV: The Highlander combines all the familiar Toyota SUV attributes of comfort, drivability, and safety with low emissions, greater fuel efficiency, Intelligent All-Wheel Drive (AWD), space on demand, and an impressive 1,500 kg towing capacity. The Highlander’s  new electrified hybrid system  combines two power sources. The vehicle’s 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine comes with a combined power of 240 hp capable of delivering a maximum torque figure of 231 nm. The system is mated to a direct-shift Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), which contributes to a minimum fuel consumption value of 20.0 km/L in the model equipped with Intelligent AWD. Drivers can also select from Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes to suit their driving styles.

Toyota Corolla Cross HEV:  The Corolla Cross has been designed as a new type of SUV that combines a tough urban-style exterior with a comfortable and convenient interior to exceed customer expectations.
