Doha: MES Indian School organised a book fair at its Conference Hall for the students, parents and staff.
Dr. Hameeda Kadar, the school’s principal, inaugurated the fair in the presence of the Section Heads and other school officials.
In her inaugural address, the principal emphasised the importance of cultivating the habit of reading books among students, and that such book fairs would bring them closer to the world of books and authors.
Crescent Bookshop had set a stall with a vast collection of books in various genres of stories, word search, art, dictionaries, fiction, and Quran stories.
Days for students’ visit to the fair from each section were allotted and the teachers assisted students in the selection and purchase of books.
The expo was an excellent opportunity for the students to further their knowledge and exposure to their favourite books and authors.
It was the second book fair on the school campus, with the first one being held the previous year.
The last day of the book fair was reserved for the parents who visited the stall with their children.
