Doha, Qatar: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received a telephone call today from his brother President of the United Arab Emirates HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
At the beginning of the call, HH the President of the UAE inquired about the situation in the State of Qatar following the Iranian attacks, reiterating his country's solidarity with Qatar in all measures it takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity.
For his part, HH the Amir expressed his appreciation for this brotherly stance, affirming the State of Qatar's solidarity with the UAE in preserving its sovereignty, security, and stability.
During the call, they reviewed the latest developments in the region in light of the continued Iranian aggression and its repercussions on regional and international stability.
Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and joint consultation between the two countries, and strengthening joint action and cooperation to address current challenges.
Both sides stressed the need for an immediate cessation of military escalation and preventing its expansion, calling for intensified regional and international efforts to reduce tensions, halt the attacks, and prioritize dialogue and diplomacy to contain the crisis and preserve regional and international peace and security.
