Beirut: The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health's Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) reported in a statement that the toll of the Israeli onslaught on Lebanon, which began at dawn on Monday, has soared to 294 fatalities and 1,023 injuries.
Earlier Saturday, Lebanon's Ministry of Health reported that a series of Israeli airstrikes on the town of Al‑Nabi Shayth and the surrounding villages in Baalbek District, eastern Lebanon, resulted in a total of 41 fatalities and 40 injuries.
Since last Monday, Lebanese territories have been witnessing a military escalation by Israel amid the ongoing tensions in the region.
