DOHA: The Qatar Exchange down on Sunday 40.23 points or 0.47 percent to 8,536.63 points from the previous closing of 8,576.86 points.
The volume of shares traded fell to 4,309,506 from 4,600,788 Thursday, and the value of shares decreased to QR267,043,020.98 from QR354,832,543.05 Thursday.
Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.66 percent to QR134.50, Electricity and Water lost 0.71 percent to QR139.00, Islamic Insurance fell 1.15 percent to QR51.70 and Industries Qatar down 0.56 percent to QR160.00.
Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.48 points while the Insurance sector up 1.31 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 0.43 points and the Services sector fell 0.48 points. (QNA)
